Accessibility Statement

La Flōr is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is not a feature we bolted on; it is part of how the site is built.

Our target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and 2.2 at Level AA across the entire site. We test with automated tools, with keyboard-only navigation, and with screen readers on both macOS and Android.

What that means in practice

• Every page uses semantic landmarks and a single, logical heading order.
• A “skip to main content” link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches.
• Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1, and interactive boundaries at least 3 to 1. We measure these rather than estimate them.
• Every interactive element is keyboard operable with a visible focus indicator.
• Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text.
• We respect your operating system’s reduced-motion preference.
• The site works when text is enlarged to 200 percent, without horizontal scrolling.

Accessibility options panel

Every page carries an accessibility button in the bottom-right corner. It opens a small panel where you can enlarge text, switch to a high-contrast theme, reduce motion, underline all links, or switch to a plainer, more readable typeface. Your choices are saved on your device and persist as you move through the site.

We want to be clear about what that panel is and is not. This site is built with Level AA as our target, whether or not you touch those controls. The panel is an added convenience, not the thing that makes the site accessible. We deliberately do not use a third-party accessibility overlay, because those products can interfere with the assistive technology you already use and trust.

Known limitations

Our online menu is provided by a third-party ordering platform, which opens in a new tab when you click Order Now. We do not control its code, and its accessibility may not match the rest of this site. If any part of ordering online is difficult or impossible for you, please call us at (415) 996-1601 and a member of our team will take your order directly. You should never be blocked from shopping with us because of an embed we did not write.
