Shopping with us
- Do I need a medical card to buy from La Flōr?
- It depends which way you shop. To buy inside our Fairfax storefront, yes: the Town of Fairfax currently permits medical retail at our location, so you need a valid government-issued ID and a current California medical recommendation. To order delivery anywhere in Marin, adults 21 and older need only a valid ID, and adults 18 and older can order with a valid medical recommendation. So if you are 21 or older, you are not shut out without a card, you just order delivery.
- Why is the storefront medical only?
- We are grateful to the Town of Fairfax for permitting us to open, and in-store sales are currently limited to medical cardholders under that permission. A lot of neighbors are surprised by this, especially if they remember Fairfax’s previous dispensary. We would love to welcome every adult 21 and older in person, and we are respectfully asking the Town to update the ordinance to allow it. In the meantime, adults 21 and older can order delivery with just a valid ID, and adults 18 and older with a valid medical recommendation. Residents can email the Town Council in support from our Support In-Store Access page.
- How old do I have to be?
- Twenty-one or older for adult-use delivery. Medical patients must hold a current state recommendation. We check identification on every order, in store and at the door, without exception.
- What do I need to bring?
- A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. If you are shopping the storefront, bring your current California medical recommendation as well.
- Do your prices include tax?
- Yes. Every price at La Flōr is an out-the-door price with all taxes already included. Nothing is added at the counter and nothing is added at your door, whether you shop in store or order delivery. It is worth saying plainly, because it is not what most people expect. Tips are welcome and never expected.
- Can I pay by card?
- Yes. Card and debit both work through our menu, so you do not need to bring cash.
- How do I get a medical card to shop in store at La Flōr?
- A California medical recommendation has to come from a physician licensed in California, meaning a medical doctor (MD) or a doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO). That can be done through a short online consultation. We are not a medical provider, but for convenience we point patients to NuggMD, an independent service we are not affiliated with that remotely pairs you with a licensed practitioner, currently $29 for the year. Bring your recommendation and a valid government-issued ID to shop our Fairfax counter.
Cannabis in Fairfax and Marin
- Is there a cannabis dispensary in Fairfax?
- Yes. La Flōr is a licensed cannabis dispensary at 1601 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, Fairfax, CA 94930. Qualified medical patients 18 and older can shop in store, and adults 21 and older, or 18 and older with a valid medical recommendation, can order delivery across Marin County.
- Can I get cannabis delivered in Marin County?
- Yes. La Flōr delivers across Marin from our Fairfax storefront, including San Rafael, San Anselmo, Ross, Kentfield, Larkspur, Greenbrae, Corte Madera, Mill Valley, Strawberry, Sausalito, Tiburon, Belvedere, Marin City, Novato, Nicasio, the San Geronimo Valley, and Marinwood and Lucas Valley. Adults 21 and older order with a valid ID, and adults 18 and older order with a valid medical recommendation.
- What kinds of cannabis products does La Flōr carry?
- La Flōr carries flower, pre-rolls, vapes, concentrates, edibles, tinctures and capsules, and topicals and CBD. Expect the favorite brands you already reach for, the strains and flavors you love, and a few new ones worth falling for, all at friendly prices with something for every taste and budget. - Does La Flōr sell CBD products?
- Yes. Alongside THC products we carry CBD-forward items and balanced ratios such as 1:1, which means equal parts CBD and THC. You will find these in our topicals and CBD selection and across other categories. One thing worth knowing: California only allows a licensed dispensary to sell CBD that comes through the state’s regulated, lab-tested cannabis supply chain, so the hemp-derived CBD products sold at general stores are not something a permitted dispensary can carry. Everything on our shelves is DCC-regulated and tested, so you always know exactly what is in it.
- What is the closest dispensary to San Anselmo, Ross, or San Rafael?
- La Flōr in Fairfax sits right in the middle of Marin, minutes from San Anselmo and Ross and a short run to San Rafael, and we deliver to all three. Storefront dispensaries are still rare in Marin, so we are a genuinely local option. If you are looking further afield, there are also dispensaries across the bridge in San Francisco and the East Bay, and up in Sonoma County.

- Where does La Flōr deliver?
- Across Marin County from our Fairfax storefront: Fairfax, San Anselmo, Ross, Kentfield, the San Geronimo Valley including Woodacre, San Geronimo, Forest Knolls and Lagunitas, San Rafael, Larkspur, Greenbrae, Corte Madera, Marinwood and Lucas Valley, Nicasio, Mill Valley, Strawberry, Marin City, Sausalito, Tiburon, Belvedere, and Novato.
- Do you deliver to Bolinas, Stinson Beach, or Point Reyes?
- Not on a regular route. West Marin is a long run from Fairfax and we will not promise a delivery window we cannot keep. We do take those orders case by case, depending on the size of the order and how busy we are. Call us and ask, and we will give you a straight answer either way.
- How long does delivery take?
- It depends where you are. The Ross Valley and the San Geronimo Valley are minutes from the shop. San Rafael, Larkspur and Corte Madera are a straightforward run. Mill Valley, Sausalito, Tiburon and Novato are a genuine trip and we quote them honestly rather than promising ten minutes and missing.
- Is there a delivery minimum?
- There may be an order minimum, and it will be shown on the Delivery page and at checkout. Your address is checked against our service area before you pay, not after.
- Can I get same-day cannabis delivery in Marin?
- Yes. During our open hours we deliver the same day across our Marin service area. Times vary by location: the Ross Valley and the San Geronimo Valley are minutes from the shop, while Mill Valley, Sausalito, Tiburon, and Novato are a longer run that we quote honestly at checkout rather than promising a window we cannot keep.

- Where is La Flōr?
- 1601 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, Fairfax, CA 94930. We are on the main road through Fairfax, a short walk from the Fairfax Theatre and the Fairfax Scoop.
- Is there parking?
- Yes, our own, directly in front of the building. When neighbors raised concerns about parking on Sir Francis Drake during our approval, we took over the entire site so we could build proper parking rather than push customers onto the street.
- What are your hours?
- Monday to Friday, 12 to 8:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11 to 9pm. Delivery windows across Marin follow the same hours.
- When does La Flōr open?
- We are open now on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in Fairfax.
About us
- Who owns La Flōr?
- La Flōr was founded by Martin Kaufman, a lifelong Fairfax resident and longtime California cannabis operator who co-founded Blüm, Grasslands at Outside Lands in San Francisco, Cookies Oakland, Edgewater Gardens, and Cabissi in Uganda. It is operated by Marin Retail Ventures LLC.
- Is La Flōr licensed?
- Yes. California state license C10-0001670-LIC, held by Marin Retail Ventures LLC for the premises at 1601 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. Every product we sell comes through the licensed supply chain and is lab tested and tracked.
- Is my purchase private?
- We do not sell your personal information and we do not share your purchase history with advertisers or data brokers. Our drivers use plain vehicles and understated packaging. What you buy is nobody else’s business.
